Intimacy Project dives into the idea of intimacy — those subtle, often overlooked moments that pop up unexpectedly. Usually tied to the physical, intimacy isn’t something we talk about much, which might be why it’s so rare in our daily lives. I’m trying to give this concept a new spin through art. While traveling and dealing with jet lag, I started taking photos of flowers in the early mornings, which felt like a mirror to my sleepless nights. This reminded me of when I was a kid and would explore plants with my grandfather with a magnifying glass, which gave me the spark for this project. The photos create a conversation about something mysterious and special. They might hint at something sexual, but really, they’re just capturing the beauty of flowers.
