These are photos from my ongoing project about people's secrets and bodies.

I brought an old handmade rug from Carpathian mountains - the soul of Ukraine - and invited my friends, acquaintances and strangers to come to my home and tell their stories while posing naked on my couch, covered with rug.

Vulnerable, romantic, frightening and delightful stories of battling and surviving, of loving and hating, of living and dying (at least, inside).

As a portrait photographer, I often become a confidant of people's dearest secrets. I was never able to tell those stories loudly, even though some of them deserve to be featured in novels or shown in movies.

So I decided to write and shoot a special book, letting private secrets to be told at first hand and seen by many others and to become collective human experience.
